The course & its setting
Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., this Par 72 course of 6,317 meters is a true Portuguese-style links: demanding, technical and perfectly integrated into the natural landscape. The fairways lined with sand, the fast greens and the sometimes capricious wind make it a challenge of choice for the most strategic players.
The hole n°3, with its spectacular view of the ocean, is considered by the architect as one of his most beautiful ever created. As for hole no. 18, it offers a majestic finale with an elevated green protected by three bunkers, in a breathtaking setting.
Awarded several times, Troia Golf is among the 10 best courses in continental Europe, according to Golf World, and was selected by Rolex in its ranking of the best courses in the world.
