The Mercure Omaha Beach is the perfect place to explore the emblematic sites of D-Day: 10 minutes from the hotel, discover the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer, the artificial port of Arromanches, Pointe du Hoc and Sainte-Mère-Église. Less than 10 km away, Bayeux, a medieval town famous for the Queen Mathilde Tapestry, its majestic cathedral and its charming half-timbered houses. 1981, has 2 18-hole courses, with distinct landscapes between land and sea. Facing the English Channel, discover a peaceful and historic landscape. The Golf offers two 18-hole courses that are very different from each other. The Patton course dominates the village of Port en Bessin and offers a view of the English Channel, the second, De Gaulle, (Par 71 of 5863 meters) is more hilly and takes you between woods and ponds.
Two new courses, Eisenhower and Churchill, complete this offer. These two routes become the main routes. They are composites of already existing courses. The Eisenhower route is made up of the Retour De Gaulle (10-18) with the Aller Patton (1-9). The Churchill routeis made up of the Outward De Gaulle (1-9) with the Retour Patton (10-18).
