THE COURSES

Anfi Tauro Golf: located approximately 20 minutes from your hotel.

Located south of the island, just 10 minutes from Maspalomas, the Anfi Tauro Golf was inaugurated in 2007 by the architect Robert Von Hagge, who was inspired by the Arizona style to create an 18-hole course that was both innovative and fun. It extends over more than 65 hectares in the valley of Tauro, in the south of Gran Canaria, near Maspalomas.

The course is distinguished by its warm volcanic colors, lush vegetation and uniquely shaped mountains, immediately immersing the player in a setting worthy of a film. Very pleasant to play, the course combines technicality and accessibility, offering a stimulating challenge while remaining suitable for all levels.

But be careful: the beauty of the setting and the impeccable maintenance of the course can sometimes be distracting. Precision and concentration will be your best allies to tame this demanding course and fully enjoy the spectacular view available to you.

During the journey, let yourself be seduced by the majesty of the Maspalomas Dunes Natural Reserve, a true desert by the sea, where the wind constantly sculpts new shapes. The route then runs along the green oasis of La Charca, a refuge for migratory birds, before reaching the famous Maspalomas lighthouse, a historical symbol that watches over the entire coastline.

Whether you are a hiking enthusiast, passionate about photography or simply in search of tranquility, the Maspalomas route offers an accessible, varied and memorable experience. Each step reveals a different face of this exceptional site, where nature, calm and light combine to create an incomparable setting.

YOUR EXCURSION

You will leave the hotel in the direction of Teror. In this picturesque village, you will visit the Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pino, which houses the statue of the island's patron saint. It is for this reason that Teror is known as the Marian village of Gran Canaria. Visits to the Basilica must be booked in advance, subject to availability.

The next stop will take us to the interior of the island to observe the peaks of Gran Canaria. Among them, the ensemble formed by the natural constructions of Roque Nublo, La Rana, El Fraile and Roque de San José stands out. You will be able to appreciate the contrast between these mountainous landscapes and the valleys located further south throughout our route.

You will stop at the Cruz de Tejeda, for lunch in a typical Canarian restaurant, then you will visit the town of Artenara, where the visitors center is located, access to which is free but requires prior reservation. Then you will continue to San Bartolomé de Tirajana and the Valley of a Thousand Palms in Fataga.

Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
