Yas Island is home to several world-famous attractions, including the Formula 1 circuit, Ferrari World, as well as the prestigiousYas Links Golf Club, opened in 2010.
This golf resort includes an 18-hole championship course, a 9-hole academy course and a floodlit practice area. Designed by American architect Kyle Phillips, his first project in the Middle East, the course took more than three years to build.

The course & its setting
Stretching approximately 6,810 yards, each hole features five different tees, providing a challenge suitable for all golfers. Eight holes, including three of the four short holes (the 8th, 13th and 17th), run directly along the coastline, offering spectacular views of the sea.
Route & Infrastructure
Hole number 9, nicknamed "The Cape", is particularly spectacular: the tee shot requires crossing a body of water on the right, and the longer the drive, the shorter and more strategic the approach to a sloping green will be.
Hole 18, majestic, ends along the coast to the left of the fairway, forcing players to demonstrate precision from tee to green. The best tactic is to play cautiously, avoiding a central bunker off the tee and then a waste bunker along the left side of the narrow green.
