The course & its setting
Located north of Troon, in a unspoiled coastal environment, the route winds between natural dunes and spectacular sea views. A true traditional links, it offers a great variety of holes, with firm, fast and well-defended greens.

Services & Location
The route is dotted with around 100 bunkers, some of which are very deep – real strategic traps. The omnipresent west wind adds to the difficulty and forces players to finely adjust their trajectories.
The clubhouse, surprisingly located in the center of the course, reinforces the singular charm of this exceptional site. Western Gailes is a pure and traditional golf experience, reserved for lovers of technical, but memorable links.
