The course & its setting
The course alternates two atmospheres: the first nine holes extend over flat, open terrain, evoking the tranquility of the Kerry countryside, while the last nine plunge into hilly terrain, sculpted by imposing natural dunes. Without blind holes, without dog-leg (except the 16th), but with an often capricious wind, Waterville requires precision, strategy and respect for the elements.
