The course & its setting
The Ailsa Course, designed in 1902 and renovated in 2016, is a 6,594 meter championship course renowned for its varied holes and exceptional natural environment. It has hosted several editions of the British Open. Hole n°9 has become emblematic with this spectacular PAR 3 facing the lighthouse.
