The route in detail
Designed in the purest links style, the course is distinguished by its deep bunkers, its blind drives, and a relatively flat topography... but which never lacks challenges. The omnipresent sea winds force players to demonstrate strategy, precision and constant adaptation.

Heritage & Tradition
Rebuilt in 1920 by the legendary Harry Colt after suffering significant damage during the First World War, the course has retained the spirit of classic golf while integrating modern technical subtleties.
The Royal Dublin has been the scene of numerous national championships, notably the Irish Open, where legends like Seve Ballesteros and Bernhard Langer have added their names to the prize list. In 1891, Queen Victoria granted him the title “Royal”, further strengthening his prestige on the international golf scene.
