The course & its setting
Created in 1921 as a 9-hole course by Eddie Connaughton, the course was transformed into 18 holes in the 1980s by the renowned Eddie Hackett, designer of masterpieces such as Waterville. In 2003, it benefited from a complete redevelopment and was enriched with a modern and welcoming clubhouse.
This authentic links winds through the natural dunes, the gorse bushes and offers a constant challenge thanks to the presence of the sea wind, a true signature of the place.

The jewel of the course is undoubtedly the 17th hole, a par 3 of 170 meters, considered by Padraig Harrington as one of the best par 3s of Ireland. Technical, windward, visually stunning — a must for any avid golfer.
