The route in detail
Originally designed in 1951 by P.K. Saunders as a 9-hole course (Upton Golf Club), it was transformed into an 18-hole course in the early 1960s, then taken over and modernized by Sandals Resorts International in 1992, with the introduction of Bermuda grass greens.
