The route in detail
Considered one of the best links in Scotland, the Old Course is a true test of precision. The course is swept by the winds and bordered by thick roughs, gorse and broom. The first nine holes, more favorable for scoring, contrast with the last nine, often played against the prevailing northwest wind, making the end of the course particularly demanding.
