The oldest route in Portugal
Founded in 1890, the Porto Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in continental Europe and the pioneer of golf in Portugal. Originally, a group of British enthusiasts created a nine-hole links course, named St. Skeff Linksin tribute to their first president, Mr. Skeffington.

The course & its setting
In 1900, the club evolved with the construction of a new nine-hole course and a first clubhouse, formalizing its current name. In 1934, the complete 18-hole course was inaugurated, combining charm, technicality and tradition in an exceptional natural setting, a stone's throw from the beach.
