The course & its setting
The West Course, an 18-hole course – Par 73 of 6,547 meters, is known for its difficulty: undulating fairways, fast greens, demanding slopes, artfully placed bunkers and natural water obstacles like small strategically placed coves. It constitutes a real challenge, even for experienced players.
The East Course, a 9-hole – Par 36 of 2,947 meters, completes the package with a shorter but perfectly designed course, ideal for a practice round or a quicker round.

Heritage & Tradition
Originally designed by C. Kenneth Cotton in 1961, the course was redesigned in 1996 by Jim Fazio, who gave it a modern second wind, while retaining its landscape harmony.
The Olgiata Golf Club has hosted several major international tournaments, including:
- The Eisenhower Trophy (1964)
- The World Cup (1968 and 1984)
- The European Tour Italian Open (1973, 2002 – won by Ian Poulter)
