The course & its setting
The Hlíðavöllur course is a 18-hole championship course that runs along the ocean and offers spectacular views of the bay, the Esja mountain and, on a clear day, the Snæfellsjökull glacier in the distance. It is known for its generous fairways, its large greens in excellent condition and its layout which combines pleasant play and some challenges, notably thanks to the lava rocks outside the lines of play.
Every summer, Hlíðavöllur hosts important competitions, including stages of the National Stroke Play Championshipand other events of the Icelandic golf circuit. In summer, colonies of Arctic terns nest along some holes, providing a unique natural touch to the playing experience.

Services & Environment
The modern clubhouse not only offers a starting point to the fairways but also a friendly restaurant with magnificent views, making it a popular destination for golfers as well as visitors wishing to enjoy the scenery.
