Designed by the Floridian architect Karl Litten, the Majlis extends over 6,676 meters for a demanding par 72. Since its opening in 1988, it has welcomed the best international golfers in a preserved setting, combining dunes, seven fresh and salt water lakes, as well as varied desert vegetation. Its name, “Majlis”, means “meeting place” in Arabic, and refers to the emblematic building located between the 8th and 9th holes, a true symbol of the club’s history.
