A true icon of European golf, the South Course of the La Manga Club stands out as one of the most prestigious courses in Spain. Designed by Robert Dean Putman and remodeled by legend Arnold Palmer, this championship course has hosted numerous international tournaments, including several editions of the Spanish Open.

The route in detail
Long 6,499 meters from the white tees, the South is a par 73 course formidably strategic, where each hole requires thought, placement and precision. The ample and undulating fairways, lined with majestic palm trees, sit alongside 15 subtly placed water hazards, offering a constant challenge to players of all levels.
A unique environment
The front nine stands out for its difficulty: long Par 3s, technical Par 4s, well-defended bunkers and complex greens. The back nine, shorter, offers a relative respite... but requires surgical precision, with several dog-legs and tricky approaches.
The 18th hole, signature of the course, concludes the round in style: a spectacular Par 5 with ravine, deep bunkers and a defended green, for an ending that is as strategic as it is memorable.
