Spanning 6,608 meters, Kingsbarns is longer than most traditional courses, while offering a balanced design that combines technical challenges and playing pleasure, without the extreme rigor of some links like Carnoustie.
The course fits perfectly into the natural landscape, with bunkers, dunes and carefully crafted fairways – an impressive feat when you consider that thousands of tonnes of earth were moved to create this environment. The vast greens, sometimes slightly undulating, add a strategic dimension while remaining accessible.

Kingsbarns is proud to co-organize the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship of the DP World Tour each year, alongside the legendary Old Course of St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links. In 2017, Kingsbarns also had the honor of hosting The Ricoh Women’s British Open.
