A journey between lake and glacial river
Discover the Kidjaberg Golf Club, an 18-hole course located in southern Iceland, about an hour south of Reykjavik, near Selfoss. Established on the historic site of Kidjaberg, an ancient settlement mentioned in the “Landnáma” (the book of Icelandic colonization), this course saw the light of day in 1989 with the opening of its first 9 holes in 1993, before becoming a full 18-hole course in 2005. The course is distinguished by an exceptional natural setting,nestled between the glacial river Hvitá and the lake Hestvatn, offering picturesque landscapes typical of the Grímsnes region.

The course & its setting
With a par of 71, Kidjabergsvöllur is known for being a demanding course that is not easily tamed, having also hosted the Icelandic championship in 2010.
