A gem in the heart of Verona’s vineyards
Located in the middle of the Custoza hills, surrounded by the magnificent vineyards to the west of Verona, the Verona Golf Club is a true reference in the Lake Garda region.
Founded in 1963 by visionaries Alberto Farina and Harold Gent, the club quickly gathered a small circle of passionate members, including Gianfranco Fedrigoni, Giacomo Galtarossa, Patrizio Tiberghien and Italo Cannella. In 1963, the initial 9-hole course, designed by John Harris, was inaugurated. Due to its growing success, it was expanded during the following decade.

The route in detail
Between 1969 and 1971, the course was reworked by Giulio Cavalsani. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the club undertook a major renovation entrusted to Baldovino Dassù and Alvise Rossi Fioravanti, who modernized the course while retaining its soul, making it more technical and demanding.
Today, the 18-hole course offers a real challenge to golfers. The first nine holes, bordered by dense vegetation, are narrow and defend greens protected by mounds and bunkers, requiring precision and finesse.

Services & Environment
The return, more spacious, offers wide and undulating fairways, while maintaining a uniform difficulty with the first part, thus offering a game balanced between strategy and pleasure.
The Golf Club Verona is much more than a simple course: it is a place steeped in history, equipped with a welcoming clubhouse and a passionate team, ready to provide a memorable golfing experience in an exceptional natural setting.
