A historic route in the heart of the Portuguese coast
Just 25 minutes from Lisbon and a few steps from the beaches of Estoril, the Estoril Golf Club welcomes you in a prestigious setting, between refinement, tradition and golfing excellence. Inaugurated in 1929, this legendary club — one of the oldest in Portugal — was redesigned in 1936 by architect Mackenzie Ross, offering a course that is as technical as it is elegant.

The route in detail
The 18-hole main course (Par 69) winds through hilly terrain adorned with pines, eucalyptus and mimosas. With its narrow fairways and demanding holes, it favors precision over power. The famous 16th hole, a Par 3 of almost 185 meters, is unanimously recognized as one of the most beautiful in the country.
This course has hosted the Portugal Open as well as the International Amateur Championship on more than twenty occasions, and has seen legends such as Seve Ballesteros, Colin Montgomerie or Gene Sarazen.
