A gem perched on the Scottish moor
Located just 3 kilometers from the famous town of St Andrews, Duke’s Golf Course rises majestically to the top of a hill, offering exceptional panoramic views of the old town, St Andrews Bay and the distant mountains. Unlike the region's traditional all-links courses, Duke's is the only golf course of the heathland — or heath — a natural environment mixing trees and open spaces, which gives it a unique identity.

The route in detail
Designed by Peter Thomson, five-time British Open champion, this challenging course offers a true test for golfers of all levels. With five starting positions per hole, it adapts perfectly to each player. Stretching over 6171 meters from the white balls, it invites a thoughtful strategy, particularly because of its technical difficulty which recommends favoring advanced starts.

A unique environment
Its quality has been internationally recognized, notably when it hosted the European International Amateur Championship in 2014, one of the four major tournaments in world amateur golf.
For an authentic golfing experience, combining history and nature, Duke’s Golf Course is an essential stopover in the heart of Scotland.
