The championship challenge at the heart of urban elegance
Located in the heart of the Mohammad Bin Rashid City district in Dubai and designed in 2018 by European Golf Design, with Gary Johnston as lead architect, this 18-hole course is made up of two loops of nine holes in return: the first nine play counterclockwise, while the last nine play clockwise. The fairways constantly change direction, offering a succession of “big reveals” from one hole to the next.
Dubai
- Number of holes: 18

- PAR 72
- Type: desert-style parkland
- Slope 138
- Distance: 6657m

The course & its setting
“The first nine holes feature dramatic elevation changes and natural features reminiscent of wadis,” explains Gary Johnston. “The holes close to the clubhouse (8, 9, 16, 17 and 18) are structured around a series of lakes, used both as irrigation reservoirs and for more lush vegetation, while the return adopts a more desert style, both in shape and vegetation. »

Route & Infrastructure
Among the key holes, we note the short par 4 n°6 (303m from the back tees), which benefits from an advantageous slope to the right of the fairway, the par 3 n°13, where a single Ghaf tree protects the left side of the green, and the par 4 n°16, characterized by a divided fairway and a body of water running along the right side of the hole.
