Located just 10 km from the heart of Madrid, the Centro Nacional de la Real Federación Española de Golf is an essential reference for golf in Spain. A true showcase of national golf, this 18-hole course opened in 2005 and has hosted several prestigious events on the European circuit, such as the Spanish Open, the Madrid Masters and the Challenge of Spain.

The route in detail
Designed by the famous architect Dave Thomas – to whom we also owe the Belfry, Abama and Terre Blanche – this course recalls the spirit of the British links. Modeled on slightly undulating terrain, almost without trees, it offers a real technical challenge, reinforced by the wind, bodies of water and numerous bunkers.
Infrastructure & Services
Designed to be accessible to all (beginners as well as experienced players thanks to family tees), the National Center is also part of a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach, in particular for water management and maintenance of the driving range.
Initiator of the project, Seve Ballesteros defended the idea of a public and unifying golf course, accessible to all Spaniards. The result is a lively, sporty, modern place, and a true pole of excellence for the new generation of golfers.
