The course & its setting
Its flagship course, the Mussenden Course, owes its name to the famous Mussenden temple, visible from certain holes. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, this traditional links seduces with its fairways sculpted in the dunes, its firm and fast greens, its strategic roughs and perfect integration into the coastal landscape.

A unique environment
Perched high above the sea, the surrounding setting evokes the history of the 18th century estate of the Earl of Bristol, Frederick Augustus Hervey, whose Downhill Castle once overlooked the bay.
To play at Castlerock is to immerse yourself in the very essence of Irish golf: rough, beautiful, natural, and deeply linked to history and the sea.
