The course & its setting
The Aroeira No. 1 course offers an exceptional golfing experience in the heart of a pine wood dotted with wild flowers, in a natural setting where many species of birds live. Its elegant and exclusive atmosphere earned it the nickname “Wentworth of Lisbon”, in homage to the famous British private club located near Windsor.

Heritage & Tradition
Designed for demanding golfers, this course requires precision and control from the start to hope to reach the greens in regulation. Among the most remarkable holes, No. 8, a Par 3 of 190 meters, stands out for its very inclined green, requiring a perfectly measured approach.
The course has hosted several major events, including the Portugal Open in 1996 and 1997, as well as stages of the Women's European Tour, thus affirming its status as a high-level championship course.
